# Inth feedback

Report unexpected failures, confusing documentation, missing capabilities, or workarounds you needed while using Inth.

## Where to send it

- MCP: call `submit_feedback` on https://api.inth.com/mcp with your existing MCP OAuth connection. Requires `mcp:tools` and no additional product scope.
- HTTP: POST https://api.inth.com/v1/feedback with `Authorization: Bearer <token>`. Use an existing Inth API key or OAuth access token. No product scope is required, and feedback does not charge Credits.
- Fallback: email support@inth.com.

For credentials, see https://inth.com/docs/cli/automation. Request and response details are at https://inth.com/docs/rest-api#agent-feedback and https://api.inth.com/openapi.json.
Machine-readable discovery: https://api.inth.com/.well-known/agent-feedback.json.
MCP tool arguments: https://inth.com/docs/mcp/tools#submit_feedback.

```bash
curl https://api.inth.com/v1/feedback \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <token>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "category": "docs_mismatch",
    "surface": "api",
    "message": "The documented project example returns a validation error.",
    "operation": "POST /v1/projects",
    "expected": "The example creates a project.",
    "actual": "The API rejects the example payload."
  }'
```

## What we want to hear about

- The product and Dashboard: https://inth.com/dashboard.
- The MCP server: https://api.inth.com/mcp.
- The API: https://api.inth.com.
- The CLI and SDKs: https://inth.com/docs.
- The docs: https://inth.com/docs, including examples and tool descriptions.
- This site: any page on https://inth.com, including its Markdown version. Include the URL you were reading.

## What to include

- What you were trying to do, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- The URL, tool name, command, or endpoint involved, plus steps to reproduce.
- The failed request's `X-Request-Id`, if available.
- Your client name and version, if you are allowed to share them.

Only `category` and `message` are required. Categories are `bug`, `friction`, `docs_mismatch`, `feature_request`, and `performance`.
Optional `surface` values are `api`, `mcp`, `cli`, `docs`, `sdk`, `dashboard`, and `other`. Use `other` for this website.
Other optional fields are `expected`, `actual`, `reproduction`, `requestId`, `operation`, `clientName`, and `clientVersion`.

Follow the user's permission to send feedback. Exclude credentials, personal data, customer payloads, and full transcripts. Submit once per distinct issue and avoid routine validation errors.

## What happens next

Reports go to the Inth team's feedback inbox. A new report returns HTTP 201 with `reference` and `alreadySubmitted: false` inside `data`.
Submitting the same report with the same credentials again within the same UTC day returns HTTP 200 with the saved reference and `alreadySubmitted: true`. No idempotency key is needed.

The quota is ten new reports per authenticated user or API key per UTC clock hour. Repeated reports do not consume that quota. Normal credential request limits still apply.
HTTP 429 means a rate limit was reached. HTTP 503 means new feedback intake is paused; repeated reports still return the saved reference.
If reporting fails, continue the original task. Do not wait for a reply.
